PICTURES Laois, Carlow, Kildare school revs up for charity

Knockbeg College tractor lads rais funds for the Embrace farm accident support group

The students of Knockbeg College held their annual charity tractor run on Friday, March 14 with 29 tractors converged on the scenic college grounds from Laois, Carlow and Kildare in support of the Laois based Embrace Farm which helps all those affected by Farm Accidents in Ireland.

Students also organised a non-uniform day and bucket collection to raise much needed funds for the worthy cause. Principal, Mr John Maye, congratulated those who took part in the event, stating that it maintained the strong connection the school has with both agriculture and charity work, a tradition that started almost thirty years ago now. He also thanked all those who kindly donated on the day. Well done to all. To see more pictures supplied to the school by the Leinster Express / Laois Live tap NEXT or ARROW.
