Mary Gorman (Née Lalor), Emmett Street, Mountmellick died suddenly and peacefully at home.
Predeceased by her beloved husband James (Jim) and her parents Tom and Margaret (Ciss).
Deeply regretted by her heart broken children Margaret, Jacqueline, Jim, Deirdre and Declan, her adored grandchildren James, Colm, James, Alisann, Ronan, Amy and Jayne, her sons-in-law Mick and Eddie, daughter-in-law Ann Marie, sister Trish, brother Tom, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours, friends and her dog Molly. Rest-In-Peace.
Reposing Moloney’s Funeral Home on Good Friday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 6.30pm.
Removal from Moloneys Funeral Home on Easter Saturday morning at 10.40am to St. Joseph's Church for Liturgy of The Word at 11am. Burial after in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church on Easter Monday at 10am.

Reposing in the Chapel of Rest adjoining the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix today Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm with Prayers at 7pm. Removal to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Ballacolla for 11am Requiem Mass on Thursday. Interment afterwards in St. Fergal's Cemetery, Ballacolla.

Mary passed away unexpectedly on the 14th April 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at U.H.L. Hospital, Limerick. Predeceased by her husband Joe, son Charlie, parents Pad and Margaret, sisters Lily, Rita and Kathleen, brother Podge and recently deceased Michael. Much loved mother of Tony, Joseph, Michael, Patrick, Marion and Billy, deeply regretted by her sons, daughter, grandchildren Patrick, Paul, Janine, Glenda, Joseph, Michael, Thomás, Patrick, John Joe, Jessica, Ellen, Ray, Killian, Joseph and Michael (O’Sullivan), Kyle and Jack, son-in-law Michael, daughters-in-law Margaret, Geraldine, Susan, Margaret and Lorraine, brother Billy, sister Sarah, brother-in-law Joe, sisters-in-law Moira and Ann, and her dear friends Catherine, Sheila and Bernie, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Removal on Thursday morning (17th April) to St Aidan’s Church, Killanure (eircode R32TK24), for Requiem Mass at 11.0’ clock, followed by Burial in St. Fergal’s Cemetery, Camross.

Valerie Hinds - Portlaoise
The death has occurred of Valerie Hinds of Mountrath Road, Portlaoise. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on 14th April 2025 at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Daughter of the late George and Connie Hinds, dearly loved sister to Ross, cherished aunt to Gareth, Julian, and Peter. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Gillie and Julian’s wife Susie. Fondly remembered by her grandnephews and grandniece, Lewis, Anabel and Matthew, and by her loving cousins, Barbara, Eleanor, Joan, and Muriel and their families.
The funeral service will take place in St Peter’s Church, Grattan Street, Portlaoise, at 3 pm on Thursday 17th April. Interment will follow in the adjoining churchyard. House private please.
Harry Kealy- Ballylinan
The death occurred of Harry Kealy of Kilburn , London, England and formerly of Boley, Ballylinan, Co. Laois on April 14, 2025.

The death occurred of James (Jim) Hearty (Portarlington, Co. Laois) on April 13th, 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of all the staff of the Margaret Kehoe Ward, St. James’s Hospital, James (Jim) late of New Mill Court.
Much loved father of Elaine and Claire. Sadly, missed and always remembered by his loving daughters, sons-in-law Ross and Anthony, his cherished grandchildren Ethan, Brayson, Annabelle and Asher, his former wife and dear friend Peg, brothers Fran, Patrick, Owen and Peter, sisters Helen and Elizabeth, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. The death occurred of Mary Grant (née Bergin), Cuan Bhride, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly of Newtown, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois on April 13th 2025, peacefully in the wonderful and loving care of the staff at Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Alan, parents Bridget and Joe, sister Sheila (Fletcher). Removal from Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown, on Wednesday (April 16th) at 10.15am to arrive at The Church of the Assumption, Killasmeestia, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
