Laois senior football manager Justin McNulty has revealed his starting 15 and substitutes for Saturday evening’s clash with Westmeath in TEG Cusack Park, where a place in the Tailteann Cup quarter-finals is on the line.

The O'Moore County picked up four points from a possible six in the group stage, with their only defeat coming against Wicklow in Aughrim in Round 2. They opened their campaign with a home win over Waterford in Portlaoise, before a last-minute penalty from Mark Barry secured a dramatic victory over Offaly in Newbridge.

Laois finished third in the group on points difference, with Wicklow topping the table and Offaly taking second. Offaly also play on Saturday, taking on New York in Tullamore, a side Laois only beat by four points en route to reaching last year’s final.

There are no changes to the Laois starting 15 from the Offaly game. Mark Barry, who was a late addition in that match and wore number 26, is now listed at number 10. However, several players will wear different jersey numbers compared to the Offaly fixture, including Brian Byrne, Kevin Swayne, Conor Heffernan, Paddy O'Sullivan, Seamus Lacey, Niall Corbet, Pa Kirwan, and the aforementioned Barry.

There are also a few changes to the bench. Conor Brown replaces Aaron Cooney as the substitute goalkeeper, while Kilcavan's Cian Ryle comes into the matchday 26, Ballylinan's Ryan Brady misses out on a spot in the squad.

LAOIS: Killian Roche (Killeshin); Ben Dempsey (Portlaoise), Trevor Collins (Graiguecullen), Liam Knowles (Stradbally); Pa Kirwan (Emo), Paddy O'Sullivan (Portarlington), Aaron McEvoy (Ballyroan-Abbey); Seamus Lacey (Ballylinan), Damon Larkin (Portlaoise); Mark Barry (O'Dempsey's), Ronan Coffey (Portarlington), Conor Heffernan (Killeshin); Niall Corbet (Clonaslee St Manman's), Kevin Swayne (Portlaoise), Brian Byrne (Graiguecullen).

Subs: Conor Brown (Portlaoise), John Brennan (Crettyard), Jamie Conway (Arles-Kilcruise), Jake Darcy (Annanough), Michael Doran (Killeshin), Josh Hogan (Portlaoise), Jonah Kelly (Crettyard), Cathal Lee (Clonaslee St Manman's), Jack Lennon (O'Dempsey's), Sean O'Neill (The Rock), Cian Ryle (Kilcavan).

Laois v Westmeath will throw-in at 5pm in Mullingar on Saturday, June 7. The Leinster Express/ Laois Live will be providing a live blog from the game.
