Man accused of damaging vehicle windows Portlaoise

A judge accepted jurisdiction in relation to an allegation of criminal damage in Portlaoise. 

Christopher Nevin(41) of 1 Harpurs Lane, Portlaoise, is accused of criminal damage to the windows of a vehicle at The Garden Village, Portlaoise on August 20 last year. 

Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby said the alleged damage amounted to €1,692.89. 

Solicitor Philip Meagher requested disclosure in the case to include any CCTV footage. 

Judge Susan Fay ordered disclosure within four weeks and adjourned the case to Portlaoise District Court on July 14 for a plea or date for hearing.
