A Laois based homeless charity will hold their annual cycling fundraiser this July 26.
Portlaoise Action to Homelessness (PATH) invite the public to join them on one of their two routes; 53km, and 100km from Portlaoise Plaza, Junction 17.
All proceeds raised will go towards providing vital supplies to the homeless in Laois and surrounding areas.
"We at PATH are delighted to say we are running our annual Charity Cycle for its second year on July 26," PATH Chairperson Jason McEvoy told the Leinster Express / Laois Live.
"Along with the two cycle routes, there is also a massive raffle to be held, which can be bought here or at Portlaoise Plaza on the day. Tickets can also be bought now using the QR code," he said.

"There will be a “Guess the Smarties Amount” game, along with live music from Joe Laffan and a DJ. Gear up for a meaningful ride and make a difference in the lives of the homeless community!
"Join us for a charity cycle event aimed at raising awareness and funds to support those in need. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, everyone is welcome to participate in this heartwarming cause," he said.
"Last year we raised over €5000 to go continue providing vital supplies to our nation’s homeless families in Laois and surrounding areas. We at PATH want again to thank the Portlaoise Plaza, U.N Veterans Post 27, Lucan Homeless Donations and you all for your continued support," Mr McEvoy finished.
It is €30 to take part, and non members of Cycle Ireland must purchase insurance. All participants will receive a t-shirt and gift bag valued at €30 on the day.
There will be food stops and refreshments on route, with support vehicles for both cycle routes. Helmets must be worn for all events.
