Christy Dignam fronted Aslan as they starred at the Old Fort Festival in Portlaoise in the summer before the legendary Irish rock music legend lost a long battle with cancer. Photographer Denis Byrne went along in June 25 to capture them on stage at the Music Generation Laois School of Music Hub for the Leinster Express.
