Fashionable fundraiser in Laois in aid of cancer research

Laois locals are invited to don their finery this August in aid of cancer research.

Michael Fitzpatrick, owner of the stunning Fitz of Inch country house in Stradbally, has invited the public to join him for a fashion festival on the property's grounds.

"You are invited on Sunday, August 17 for a free family fun day supporting Breakthrough Cancer Research," organisers announced.

From 2pm to 8pm, there will be fun and fashion orientated entertainment for all the family.

The fundraiser will see celebrity judges descending upon Laois, including stylists for the stars Marrietta Doran and Mandy Maher.

A 'Walk the Catwalk' segment will take place along with a best-dressed competition, where an amazing €1,000 voucher for Fitz of Inch up for grabs.

Abbeyleix musician Ian Delaney will perform live at the event, renowned for his captivating performances, blending various genres to create a unique sound experience that will have everyone on their feet.

With a craft fair and plenty of children's activities, there is something for everyone at the Fashion Festival.

A charity raffle will take place, with proceeds going towards Breakthrough Cancer Research.

"Join us for a heartwarming and exciting day out dedicated to supporting Breakthrough Cancer Research, Your participation is vital!" Fitz of Inch shared.

While the festival is free, tickets are required for entry, with attendees asked to RSVP ahead of the event here.
