Caroline Bergin - Abbeyleix
The death has occurred of Caroline Bergin (née Fleming) Lower Boley, Abbeyleix, formerly of Dromsally, Cappamore, Limerick, and late of Mulcair Veterinary Clinic, Cappamore, peacefully on Tuesday, August 12.
Caroline passed away after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of the Intensive Care Unit in St. James's Hospital, Dublin.
Predeceased by her father Jimmy and her recently deceased father-in-law Charlie. Deeply regretted by her loving and devoted husband Charlie, mother Phyllis, mother-in-law Patricia, sisters Siobhan, Philomena and Liz, sisters-in-law Margaret Mary, Deirdre and Emer, brothers in law Ger, Fergal, Damien, Michael, David, Noel and Mark, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Caroline will repose in St. Brigid's Church, Shanahoe eircode R32AH90 on Friday 15th August from 5pm concluding with Rosary at 8pm. Arriving for Requiem mass in St. Brigid's Church, Shanahoe at 12 noon on Saturday, August 16, followed by Interment afterwards in Shanahoe Cemetery.

Edward Chambers - Mountrath
The death has occurred of Edward (Tom) Chambers, Clonin, Mountrath, peacefully in Villa Marie Nursing Home Roscrea on Wednesday, August 13.
Predeceased by his parents Timothy and Elsie, his brother Billy and his sisters Jane, Fanny, Bella, Florrie and Mary.
Tom will be sadly missed by his nephew Joe, nieces and nephews in England, close friends and neighbours along with his wider circle of friends.
Reposing in his home in Clonin, on Friday evening 15th of August from 7 pm with prayers at 8 pm.
Funeral Service on Saturday the 16th of August in St Jude's Church, Annatrim, eircode R32Y060 at 4pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard.
House private Saturday morning please. “Safe in the Arms of Jesus”.

Mary Sunderland - Graiguecullen
The death has occurred of Mary (Maureen) Sunderland (née Corcoran) of 25 Pacelli Avenue, Graiguecullen, and formerly Kill, Tullow, Co Carlow who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in her 99th year, on August 13th, 2025, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Hillview Nursing Home, Tullow Rd., Carlow.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas and much-loved mother of Colette, Eamonn, Mary, Caroline, Gerard, Catherine and Thomas.
She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, her 19 grandchildren and her 19 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister Theresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Friday (August 15th) from 4 pm until 7pm with Prayers at 6 pm that evening. Removal from there on Saturday at 10.40 am to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for the Funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
