BREAKING: Five Electric Picnic campsites now FULL following early entrances

Electric Picnic has issued an announcement that five popular campsites are now full.

Organisers of the Stradbally festival have announced that following the large crowd that availed of early access, Jimi Hendrix, Andy Warhol, Samuel Beckett, Ginsburg and Janis Joplin campsites are now full.

This announcement was released as a notification on the Electric Picnic official app, and posted on their social media pages.

While this may seem bad news for picnickers arriving on Friday morning, hope is not lost!

Organisers have shared that there is still 'lots of room' in the Charlie Chaplin and Oscar Wilde campsites.

With over 80,000 picnickers expected to descend upon Stradbally this Thursday and Friday, Laois is gearing up for a hectic weekend.

Whether you are camping and looking for weather updates and stage times, or at home wanting to see the latest updates, the Leinster Express team will be on site bringing you everything as it happens.

For videos of performances, interviews with acts, photos of Laois locals enjoying the festival and much more, keep an eye on our socials and website for updates as they come!
