Rain has been hard to escape during Electric Picnic 2025 and while there have been sunny periods, Met Éireann expects the final day of the festival to be unsettled.

The Met Éireann meteorologists expect Sunday to be breezy with widespread showers, turning heavy, with longer spells of rain at times.

While temperatures could reach 18 degrees, Met Éireann says the weather will feel cooler than recent days in fresh and gusty southerly winds, which will ease during the evening for the last acts of the Electric Picnic.

The forecaster says showers will continue to feed in from the west on Sunday night, merging into longer spells of rain at times in the northwest and west, turning heavy in places.

There'll be clear spells and scattered showers elsewhere with lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate to fresh west to southwest winds, strong along Atlantic coasts.

Thousands will pack up in Stradbally on Monday which will feature sunny spells and widespread showers. The showers will turn heavy and possibly thundery at times before easing in the evening and becoming mostly confined to the west.
