William Mulhall - Mountrath
The death took place on Saturday, September 6 of William (Billy) Mulhall, Coolnacarte, Mountrath, Co. Laois.
Billy passed away peacefully in his 93rd year, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of staff at Droimnín Nursing Home, Stradbally.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Lillie) and his cherished son John, siblings John (Buddy), Margaret (Peggy), Patrick and Agnes, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Billy is survived by his loving sons, Ger, Declan, and Des, daughters-in-law Nuala, Yvonne, Christie, and Patricia. Yvonne's husband Michael, grandchildren Dearbhla, Sarah, Brian, John, Joanne, Enda, James, Clodagh and Fergus and their partners, great-grandchildren Ollie, Alfie, Ava and Rian, sisters-in-law Tessie (Sharpe) and Mary (Rafter), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home in Coolnacarte eircode R32 R297 on Monday evening 8th of September from 5,0’clock with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Tuesday morning 9th September to St Fintan’s Church, Raheen eircode R32WT44, for Requiem Mass at 11.0’clock, followed Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.

Patrick Fitzsimons - Portlaoise
The death took place on Friday, September 5 of Patrick (Pat) Fitzsimons, Racehill Cresent, Ashbourne, Meath / Portlaoise, Laois.
Patrick (Pat), formerly of Portlaoise, passed away peacefully at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin.
Deeply loved and sadly missed by his devoted wife Ann, his stepchildren Paul, Louise, Derek and Anita, sons-in-law Paddy and Daryl, his treasured grandchildren Charmaine, Mark, Sean, Theo, Eliza and Nathan, his sister Mary and brother Michael, his sons Padraig, Enda and Kevin, extended family, neighbours and many dear friends.The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ratoath Nursing Home for the wonderful care shown to Pat during his time there, and to the dedicated doctors, nurses and medical staff of St. James’s Hospital for their kindness and care throughout his life.
Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, Ashbourne (A84CX52) on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Ashbourne arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed live from the webstream box below followed by Cremation Service in Dardistown Crematorium at 1:30pm. Family Flowers Only.
Tony Kelly - Stradbally / Portlaoise
The death took place on Friday, September 5 of Tony Kelly, formerly of The Heath, Portlaoise.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Margaret, brothers Tommy and Sean. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore after a long illness. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Yvonne, family Ned, Keith, Melissa, Shauna, Michelle, Aaron, Tíernan and Mia and their partners, his adorning grandchildren, sisters Elizabeth, his twin Carmel, Jane ,Maisie and Bridget, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence (eircode R32 W6Y6) on Saturday evening from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Sunday at 1:20pm arriving Church of The Assumption, Vicarstown (R32 N803) for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to Moyanna Cemetery.
The Family would like to thank sincerely the Staff of Ardan Ward and I.C.U. at the Regional Hospital Tullamore for the way they looked after their father.
Mary Hannan - Coolrain
The death took place on Friday, September 5 of Mary Hannan (nee Handcock), Goatstown, Dublin and formerly Coolrain, Co. Laois.
Peacefully, in The Residence Nursing Home Portlaoise, in her 96th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Robert, sister of Sloane (Antrim) and Violet (Donegal). Cherished sister, aunty and cousin. Deeply regretted by her many relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Service at 3pm on Sunday 7th in St Jude's Church, Anatrim Church, Coolrain. Interment will follow in Aghaboe Cemetery.
