Gardaí are appealing for information after vehicles in Portlaoise and Portarlington were broken into at the weekend.
In Portlaoise, a toolbox was stolen from a vehicle at Portlaoise Shopping Centre on the Mountmellick Road in the town between Sunday night.
Gardaí said the driver's side window of the vehicle was smashed during the incident at Globus Foods. They are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or who may have footage from the area to contact them at Portlaoise Garda Station.
Meanwhile, Gardaí are appealing for information after a car was targeted by thieves and damaged in Portarlington on Friday night.
Two men broke into the Toyota car on the Bog Road in Portarlington on Friday, September 26 at 11.30pm.
Gardaí said a small fly window was broken by the two male suspects who were seen in the area.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or who has footage or information in relation to either incident is asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 867 4100.
