Portarlington pub licence application adjourned

A judge adjourned an application to transfer a pub licence in Portarlington.

Noel Martin made the ad interim licensing application in relation to Tom’s Bar, 16 Main Street, Portarlington, before Portlaoise District Court.

Judge Catherine Ryan said documents weren’t in order for the application to transfer the licence from George Friel to Noel Martin.

“You haven’t given notice to gardai,” Judge Ryan told Mr Martin. “I have given notice,” he responded. “Which documents are not in order?” he asked.

“I am not going to go through the documents with you here today,” Judge Ryan said.

She adjourned the application back to Portlaoise District Court on October 17 and advised the applicant to make sure the documents were in order.
