A team of Portlaoise GAA legends rolled back the years in Dingle last weekend to capture the prestigious Tommy Griffin Over 35s Tournament. FULL REPORT BELOW PICTURE.

The Town produced a series of superb performances throughout the competition, culminating in a hard-fought victory over Crossmaglen Rangers in the final. Captain Kevin Fitzpatrick lifted the cup to jubilant scenes as Portlaoise once again showed their class on the big stage.
Their route to glory included impressive group-stage wins over the Kerry Masters and Clann Éireann, before facing familiar Laois rivals Stradbally in the semi-final. The same club famously denied many of those Portlaoise players ten Laois SFC titles in a row back in 2016. This time, however, Portlaoise came out on top, setting up the showdown with Crossmaglen.
Paul Cahillane was named Player of the Tournament, a testament to his outstanding performances across the weekend.
Guiding the side were the management duo of Owen “Churtle” Delaney and Colm “Wooly” Parkinson.
