The Maryborough Suite in the Midlands Park Hotel was packed to the rafters on Saturday evening as the Laois LGFA held their annual awards night. It was a great year for the girls in blue and white as the Intermediate team were beaten in the All-Ireland and the Leinster final, while the Minor team were crowned Leinster Minor 'B' champions. There were Team of the Year awards given out across all three grades of club football, along with Player and Players' Player of the Year accolades for the inter-county teams. Photographers Denis Byrne and Paul Dargan were in attendance for the Leinster Express/ Laois Live.
