Eamon Lalor - Durrow
The death took place on Saturday, December 6 of Eamon Lalor.
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family whilst under the care of the medical staff of the University Hospital, Waterford.
A devoted husband to his beloved wife, Julie, a cherished father to his daughters, Elaine, Anne, Frances, Teresa and son Eddie. Deeply adored grandfather to Jude, Daniel, Emmet, Jodie, Ellen, Tom, Jack, Isabelle, Anna, Tessa, Todd, Odhran and Judith. His sons in law Eric, Steve, John and daughter in law Ann Marie.
Deeply regretted by his sisters Marette, Gertie and brothers Tommy, Martin and Jim. His brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of dear friends.
Eamon will repose at his residence(R32 TK27) on Monday 8th December 2025 from 3pm concluding with recital of the Rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass will be at 12pm on Tuesday 9th December 2025 in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow, Co. Laois(R32 CK11)with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Ollie Delaney - Mountrath / Camross
The death took place on Saturday, December 6 of Ollie Delaney, Rossadown, Mountrath, Co. Laois.
Peacefully on the 6th December 2025, in the loving care of the staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny.
Ollie will be sadly missed by his loving wife Theresa, daughter Sheila and her partner John, son Gerard and his partner Elaine, grandchildren John Paul, Mia and Hannah, brother Denis, sister-in-law Dorothy, nieces Ann and Claire, nephew Dermot, family circle, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Patrick Conroy - Mountrath
The death took place on Saturday, December 6 of Patrick (Patsy) Conroy, Redcastle, Mountrath, Co. Laois.
Patsy passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, in the care of doctors and nurses at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his parents Fint and Molly, brothers Stephen and Joe, recently deceased sister Catherine.
Deeply regretted by his wife Alice, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath eircode R32Y661, on Monday evening 8th December from 6.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Tuesday morning 9th December to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath eircode R32X338, for Requiem Mass at 10.0’clock, followed by Burial in the St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.

Sr Mary Tighe - Rathdowney
The death took place on Friday, December 5 of Sr Mary Tighe, Sisters of Saint John of God, Sallyville House, Newtown Road, Wexford and formerly of Kylemalawn, Rathdowney / Erill, Co. Laois.
Peacefully in the care of the staff and Sisters of Sallyville House, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents John and Teresa, sisters Maura, Breda, Teresa, Angela, Anne, Sr Agatha (Nora), Sr. Dympna (Lena), Sr. Aloysius (Rita) and her brother Paddy.
Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends and her St. John of God community. May she rest in peace.
Reposed at Sallyville House on Sunday 7th December from 2pm followed by evening prayer at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday 8th December at 11am in St. Patrick’s Church, Kilkenny followed by burial in Folkstown Cemetery.
William O'Shea - Portlaoise
The death took place on Friday, December 5 of William Ó Shea, 20 O'Moore Place, Portlaoise, Laois.
Passed away unexpectedly. Pre deceased by his father William, brother Joseph and nephew Jamie Lee. Deeply regretted by his partner Lorna, son Frankie, his heartbroken mother Margaret, sister Caroline, brothers Paul, John and Patrick, his beloved nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home from Sunday. Rosary recital on Monday at 7.30pm. Removal on Tuesday at 11.45 to arrive at St Peter & Paul's Church for 12.30 requiem mass. Interment afterwards in St Peter & Paul s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
Kevin Gray - Ballyroan
The death took place on Thursday, December 4 of Kevin Gray, Rahanavannagh, Ballyroan, Laois. Formerly of County Armagh.
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Beloved husband of Helen Kelly, father to Peter, Kevin, Leanne, Ciara, Alanna and Conor, stepfather to Mariclare, Stephen and Sean, brother to Colleen and Mary, father-in-law, adoring Grandad.
Kevin's loss will be deeply regretted by All. Much loved by his family and many friends.
Removal from his residence on Sunday at 1:30pm arriving St Patrick's Church, Ballyroan (eircode R32 CX79) for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to St Patrick's Cemetery.
