February saw the return of the inter-county action as the Laois GAA hurlers and footballers got their league campaigns underway as did the Laois LGFA and Laois Camogie teams. Portarlington GAA held their Awards Night to celebrate their 2024 Laois SFC success. Castletown, St Joseph's, Stradbally, Portlaoise, Clonaslee St Manman's and Kilcavan all held Dinner Dances.
