Ballyroan influencer Doireann O’Connor’s New Year’s resolution is to remain true, despite any fears.
"The first thing that comes to mind for the new year, is getting into the mindset to stop sweating the little things," the influencer said.

"It really has changed my life to realise that nothing is that deep and nobody cares, in a good way. That's my new mantra, and I'd tell that to everyone now," she said.
"If there's something you want to do that you're nervous to do, just do it! People are more focused on themselves and aren't looking outside of themselves. Just do you, and don't worry about what people might think!" Doireann said.
For 2026, Ms O'Connor is excited to see what comes.
"I think I'm looking forward to seeing consistency, without expectations. I'm working on something at the minute and I'm not sure what the outcome will be, but I'm excited to experience the things along the way," she said.
"I'm looking forward to going with the flow, without knowing what is in store- and hoping for health and happiness!" she finished.
