Laois Offaly Gardaí arrested man and seized drugs and cash valued at over €30,000 in an operation targeting drug dealing.
Gardai said “as part of ongoing operations targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in Offaly, members of the Offal Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a search following the arrest of a male in Edenderry.”
During the operation, Gardai seized crack cocaine valued at €300, heroin to the value of €100 and €105 in cash.
“A subsequent search was conducted at a residential address in Edenderry under warrant, where Gardaí seized: Heroin to an estimated value of €27,500, Alprazolam tablets valued at approximately €450. Cash totalling €4,000,” Laois Offaly Gardaí said.
“An Garda Síochána remains committed to disrupting the supply of illegal drugs and protecting communities across Offaly,” Gardaí stated.
They said all drugs and cash seized will be sent for analysis.
