Gardaí discovered a 15 year old driving on the M7 motorway in Laois.
They learned that the driver was intending to travel to Dublin when they were stopped on Sunday night.
The driver had no tax, licence or insurance and Gardaí seized the Suzuki Swift car.
“Most 15 year olds at the moment are at home flat out preparing for the Junior Cert,” Gardaí stated in a social media post.
The car was stopped by members of the Laois Roads Policing Unit.
