Well known RTÉ daytime programme 'Today' hosted by Dáithí Ó Sé and Maura Derrane will see their presenter travel further afield for Wednesday's episode.
Dáithí will visit Rosenallis to speak with local businesses and local students.
The crew will first pay a visit to Rosenallis NS, and speak with the students who were recently crowned Irish champions at the VEX Robotics national final.
The students will go on to represent Ireland at the world championships in St Louis, Missouri this April. In a true underdog tale, Laois locals raised a whopping €123,325 to pay for the children's travel fares.
Next, the Today show with Maura and Dáithí will meet with children at the Laois Forest School, founded by Ailbhe Joyce.
Dáithí will also pop into The Village Tap pub in Rosenallis, where he'll chat to locals.
Viewers will be treated to a demonstration from Hey Pesto! chef Yvonne Carty from Tullamore, who will be preparing delicious crostini and brownies using local ingredients, including Mueller & O' Connell Bakery, Feighery's Farm Beetroot Juice, Garryhinch Mushrooms, Barbavilla Dairy and The Village Dairy.
There will also be music from Abbeyleix singer-songwriter Brian Killeen.
