The death has occurred of Marion Dooley (née Doheny) Glenall, Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois, formerly Mountain View, Borris-in-Ossory and Knock, Roscrea, Marion passed away March 24th 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of the staff of Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore.
Predeceased by her mother Anne and father Joe. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving husband Noel, sons Noel, Derek and Jack, daughter Rhoda (Brogan), daughters-in-law Ashling and Lisa, son-in-law John, grandchildren Jamie, Odhran, Óisin, Saoirse, Fiachra and Cora, brother Joe, sisters Kay and Anne, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends. “May Marion's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace”
Reposing at her home 30 Glenall, Borris-in-Ossory, (Eircode R32WXY4) this Wednesday (March 25th) from 3pm concluding with Rosary at 8pm.
Removal from her home this Thursday morning (March 26th) to St. Canice's Church, Borris-in-Ossory (Eircode R32P2YK) for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in Derrinsallagh Cemetery, Borris-in-Ossory.

The death has occurred of Mary(Mae) Lewis (née O'Connor) Newpark, Portlaoise, Laois / Emo, Laois. Late of Newpark Portlaoise and Emo County Laois. Peacefully in her 99th year at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise and previously in the wonderful care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington on March 24, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Michael. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by her loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her residence (eircode R32 PR8F) on Wednesday evening from 3pm with Removal at 5:20pm arriving St Peter and Paul's Church Portlaoise for Reception Prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am. Funeral afterwards to the New Cemetery Emo.

Pat O'Brien- Stradbally
The death has occurred of Pat O’Brien, Tullamoy, Stradbally, Co. Laois, who passed away peacefully on 23 March 2026 at his home, surrounded by his wife and family.
Sadly missed by his wife June, sons Mark and Michael, daughters-in-law Isabell and Cheryl, grandchildren Amy, Dylan, Haley, Josh, Chloe, Jamie, Abbey and Danny, great-grandchildren Ruby and Archie, brothers Kevin and Tony, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, and his many friends.

The death has occurred of Helen Mayling (née Nolan) (former Matron of The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow) of “Little Acre”, Killeshin Road, Carlow and formerly of Henry St., Graiguecullen, Carlow, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 24th, 2026 at her home.
Beloved wife of the late Michael, much loved mother of Nigel and Corina, adored grandmother of Ronan, Katie, Neil, Orla and David and cherished sister of Dinny, Seamus, Margaret, Kathleen, Mary, Bernie, Dympna, Anna and the late Ted, Paddy, Maurice and Liz.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Lynam Castleredmond, Midleton, Co. Cork
and formerly of Rosenallis, Co. Laois. Peacefully, on March 22nd, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff of Marymount University Hospital & Hospice.
Beloved partner of Anne-Marie Waters and much-loved father of Emma, Sophie and Celine. Cherished son of Mary and the late Patrick Lynam. Dearly loved brother of John, Jacinta, Carol and Yvonne.
