Laois Offaly Gardaí recover stolen case

A valuable case that was stolen in Offaly has been recovered by Gardaí in Laois. 

“A stall holder at the Clara Sunday Market was the victim of an opportunistic theft when she had a valuable cosmetic case stolen from her stall recently,” Laois Offaly Gardaí said in an online post.   

“Garda Gerry Feeley and Garda Sharon Barron of Clara Garda Station were quickly on the case and follow up enquiries led to a suspect being identified.  

During a search and arrest operation this morning in the Portlaoise area, the stolen case was recovered and a suspect arrested who later made full admissions,” Gardaí said. 

The posted a picture of the owner of the stolen makeup case who they said was “absolutely delighted” to get her property back.
