The Fourth Wall Laois Theatre Group will bring one of John B Keane's most beloved stories to the stage this April.

The theatre group will take to the stage in Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise for their production of the classic clerical comedy, Moll, by John B Keane.

Moll is set in a country presbytery where the Canon and his two curates are at a low ebb with the departure of their beloved housekeeper. So, they seek a replacement. Enter Moll Kettle, who with cleverness and cunning, ends up running and transforming the parish.

The Canon adores her, but a war of attrition soon erupts between Moll and the senior curate, Fr. Brest. Who will break first?
