The expo will be held in Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise
A large-scale event that will bring business leaders in Laois together to showcase what the county has to offer is being planned in Portlaoise.
Laois Chamber Alliance, in partnership with Laois County Council, is set to host Laois Shines 2026, an Economic Forum and Business Expo showcasing Laois as a county that is competitive, investable and delivering.
Coming to the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise it will bring together business leaders, policymakers and industry experts for a morning of keynote talks, panel discussions and economic insights, alongside a curated business expo.

The organisers say the event is “designed to highlight the strength of the Laois business community, the event will also provide valuable networking opportunities for delegates throughout the morning.”
They added that those attended can “gain valuable economic insights and connect with organisations shaping the future of business in Laois.”
