Gardaí issued an appeal after a house was burgled in Portlaoise while an occupant was home.
Portlaoise Gardaí say a woman heard noise in the house at The Pines, Forest Park, Portlaoise on Tuesday, April 21 at 6 pm.
When she went to investigate the woman discovered the back window was open and the kitchen presses had been opened and searched. Nothing is believed to have been taken during the burglary.

Gardaí are asking anyone with information, or anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 867 4100.
