Laois Gardai have reopened the busy N80 in Portlaoise after an accident on Saturday afternoon.
Gardai closed the Mountmellick Road in between the Ballyfin Rd junction & Fairgreen around 3pm due to an incident which involved five vehicles.
Gardai have put diversions in place but were able to reopen the route by 5.30 pm.
Gardai said nobody was seriously injured.
