Predeceased by his brothers Hugh & Tom. Sunday 1st January 2023 (Peacefully) He will be sadly missed by his wife Joan, his family Gene (Mary), Deirdre (Pat), Sharon (Kieran), Lorraine (Maurice), and his special, treasured daughter Celine, his brothers Jim, Ollie & Kevin, grandchildren Hannah, Keelan, Áine, Peadar, EllenRose, Patrick, Seán, Garvan, Lana & Cormac, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours & friends.  Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, High St., Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim N41 TD62 this Monday evening from 4pm until 6pm. Removal from his home in Drumlogher on Tuesday morning to arrive to St. Mogue’s Church, Bawnboy, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Bertie Freeborn, Roscatt, Rossnowlagh, Donegal
Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife Lilly, son Robert (Roisin) and daughter Lorraine (John), his grandchildren Tom and Rosa. Predeceased by his brother Billy, missed dearly by his brother Ernie, nieces and nephews and all his extended family and friends. Reposing at John McGee & Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Rd, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, F94 ED21 on Sunday from 4pm to 7pm, walk through only please. Removal on Monday afternoon from his residence to St. John's Church, Rossnowagh for 2pm funeral service with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. House private at all times please. Mary Murray, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon
The death has occurred of Mary Murray (nee Browne), Cordrehid, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon and formerly Innishmaine, The Neale, Co Mayo on Saturday, 31st December 2022 (peacefully) at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jodie, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her devoted sons Joe, John and Tommy, daughters-in-law Geraldine, Mary and Belinda, grandchildren Kieran, Orla, Niamh and Conor, sisters Margaret Deacy (Galway), and Bridget Browne (Ballinrobe), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the residence of her son Joe and daughter-in-law Geraldine (Danesfort) on Monday, 2nd January from 3 o'clock until 7 o'clock with removal to St Michael's Church, Croghan on Tuesday morning arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 o'clock with funeral afterwards to Drumlion Cemetery. David Smyth, Mohill, Co Leitrim
The death has occurred of David Smyth of Cloonboney, Mohill, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Marino, Dublin 3. In the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Sligo University Hospital and The North West Hospice after a short illness. Sadly, missed by his beloved wife Liana, his sons Daniel and Alex and daughter Maria, his six grandchildren Dylan, James, Charlie, Kelly, Olivia and Harry, sisters Elizabeth, Carmel and Anne, brothers Larry, Dermot, Paul and Peter, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. David’s Funeral Mass will take place in St. Joseph’s Church, Cloonturk on Monday, 2nd January, at 12 noon. Followed by private cremation. Nora Foster,  Tawley, Castlegal, Co Sligo
The death has occurred of Nora Foster (née McNulty), Tawley, Castlegal, Co Sligo, surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff of the Ballymote, Community Nursing Unit, Ballymote on Saturday, 31st December. Predeceased by her husband Fred, grandson Paul and her brother Pat. Sadly missed by her son Freddie, her grandchildren Susan, Vickie and Ryan, her niece Winfred Mc Nulty and all her extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at McGloin’s Funeral Home, Chapel Rd., Cliffoney on Monday, January 2, from 4pm until 6pm. Funeral arriving to St Aidan’s Church, Kinlough on Monday evening for 7pm. Raymond (Ray) Creamer, Luton, UK / Mohill, Co Leitrim 
Raymond (Ray) Creamer, Inkerman Street, Luton, Bedfordshire, UK. Formerly of Lough Rynn and Treanmore, Mohill, Co. Leitrim on Sunday, 11th December 2022, suddenly, at his home in Luton. Ray was predeceased by his parents, John (Sonny) and Bridie and his sister Breege (Reilly). He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken daughters, Caroline, Sharon and Kelly and their Mother, Teresa, his adored grandchildren, Shannon, Declan, Dylan, Niamh, Shaun, Nathan, Lilly and Mollie, his brothers, Michael, Liam, Des, sister Betty, his sisters-in-law, Mary and Agnes and brother-in-law, Tommy, cousin Lillian his nieces, nephews, extended family and his wide circle of friends. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Mohill on Tuesday morning, 3rd January, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Tony (Antony Michael) Brown, Dromod, Co Leitrim
Tony (Antony Michael) Brown, 13 Shannon Cove, Dromod, Leitrim - Tony (Antony Michael) Brown, 13 Shannon Cove, Dromod, Co. Leitrim and formerly Swindon and St Albans, UK, passed away 29th December (peacefully) at his home in the loving care of his wife and son. Pre-deceased by his daughter Emma and mother Hazel. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his heartbroken wife Karen and son Daniel, father Robert, sister Sarah and brother Chris ( All in UK), aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends. Reposing at his home (N41 V297) on Sunday (1st Jan) from 2pm until 4pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge, Co. Sadly missed by his loving wife Catherine, sons James, Gene and Sean, grandsons Aiden and Ryder, sisters Geraldine and Maureen, brothers Seamus, Johnny and Brian, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The death has occurred of Helen Fullen (nee McGovern), Laheen, Killeshandra, Co Cavan, on Friday, 30th December 2022, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Rose-Ellen, very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband Martin, daughters Rose and Karen, son Mark, brothers Seamus, Sean Michael and Frank, sister Teresa, nephews, niece, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her home in Killeshandrga (H12 RF10) on Sunday, 1st January from 2pm - 8pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Predeceased by her husband John Thomas, parents Micheal and Mary McGovern, brother Mike (USA) and sister Margaret McAvetty. Sadly, missed by her sons, Anthony (Yvvone-Ballygawley) and Shane (Ballinaglera), Daughters Geraldine Gilmartin (Paul-Drumshanbo), Mary McGovern (Francie-Glangevlin) Patricia Crawford (Robbie-Dowra), Tina McKeon (John-Dublin), Pauline McKeon (Dave-Enniskillen), sisters Mai Durkin (ballinaglera), Annie Flynn (Ballinaglera) and Kitty Scollan (Kilturbid) and brothers Myles (Dowra) and Arthur (Dublin), Grandchildren, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, many friends and neighbours.  Removal at 7.00pm to St. Hugh’s Church, Ballinaglera, on Sunday, January 1st. Requiem Mass at 2pm on Monday, followed by burial in Fahy Cemetery.

Gabriel Clancy, Mullingar, Co Westmeath / Keadue, Co Roscommon
Gabriel Clancy, Clarkemount Avenue, Clonmore, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and late of Keadue, Co. Roscommon on 29th December 2022 (suddenly) at his home. Dearly loved husband of Ena, loving and much loved father of Barbara, Martin, Ronan and Martha, and devoted grandfather to Orlaigh, Seán Óg, J.G., Emily, Fionnán and Kayleigh; Gabriel will be deeply missed by his wife and family, sons-in-law Luca and Conor, daughter-in-law Deborah, brother Ciaran, brother-in-law Damien, sisters-in-law Winnie and Olive, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and former colleagues at Mullingar Community College. Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home, Mullingar (N91 K660) on Sunday, January 1st, from 4 o’c concluding with prayers at 6 o’c. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 2nd, at 11 o’c in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar and the Mass may be viewed live on www.mullingarparish.ie. Burial will take place in Kilronan Cemetery, Keadue arriving at 2 o’c.

Jim Nealon, Lucan, Dublin / Ballinamore Co Leitrim on December 29th, 2022 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip. Beloved husband of Ann and much-loved father of James, Peter, Paul and Emma, predeceased by his brother Sean; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren Adam, Aoife, James, Áine, Dylan, Harry and Emily, sister Nellie son-in-law Joey, daughters-in-law Orla, Zelinda and Róisín, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Sunday evening (January 1st) between 4 pm and 6 pm.
