Pauline Charles, Church Street, Drumshanbo, Leitrim - (formerly UK). Pauline passed away peacefully, on Friday, 6th January, at University Hospital, Sligo. Pre-deceased by her husband, Ray. Pauline will be sadly missed by her friends and neighbours. Reposing at her home on Wednesday, 11th January, from 11 am. Arriving at St. John's Church, Drumshanbo, for Funeral Service at 1.00 pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Church Yard.
John Donnarumma, Clonfane Road, Kinawley, Fermanagh -Friday 6th January 2023, peacefully, loving husband of Mary (nee Walsh) & dear father of Dieter & Darius. Remains reposing at South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen, Wednesday morning, 11th January, 10.30 am to 11.00 am, before removal for private cremation. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons & extended family circle.

Mary McCarthy (née Flynn), Glenfarne, Leitrim / Cork - Dec 9, 2022, at 93 years old. She is survived by her sister Sally, brothers-in-law Frank, Conor, and Paddy, sister-in-law Ruth, seven children, two sons-in-law, three daughters-in-law, 19 grandchildren (who lovingly called her Nana), and 11 great-grandchildren. In the words of Mary/Mom/Nana, “byesie byesie.” She meant so much to so many people and will forever be missed and live on in our hearts.
Catherine (Katie) Lawrence (née Prunty), Wembley and formerly Clonteagh, Newtownforbes, Longford - peacefully, in the loving care, of the staff of Burroughs Care Home, London, Tuesday 20th December 2022. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Mary Ellen, her brothers Tommy, Jimmy, Petie, her sisters Lizzie Anne, Maggie and Bridie. Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephew, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, care home staff, relatives and friends.n Reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Athlone Road, Longford, N39 K381, on Sunday from 5pm concluding with prayers at 6pm. Fr Padraig Flanagan, St. Patrick's Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Wicklow / Boyle, Sligo- St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Ardsoran, Killaraght, Boyle, Co. Sligo & Diocese of Ikot Ekpene, Nigeria, January 6th 2023, peacefully in the Care Unit, Kiltegan. Predeceased by his parents, James & Kate, his sister, Rita, and brothers, Bernard, William and Seamus. Deeply regretted by his sister, Jane Patricia, brothers, Mons Michael, (Columbia, Diocese of Jefferson City, Missouri), and Francis (Killaraght, Boyle), sister-in-law, Joan, nephews, nieces, their families, and by his Society family. Bridget Rooney, Dromod / Mullies, Co Leitrim - The death has occurred on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 of Bridget Rooney (nee O'Rourke) 14 Bofin Ave, Dromod and formerly of Lecknarainey, Mullies, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully in the care of Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Packie (Roe) and son Brendan. Cherished and loved mother of Thomas, Pauric, Joseph and Desmond. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Reposing at Our Lady's Hospital Chapel, Manorhamilton on Monday evening, January 9th, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with removal to the Church of the Annunciation, Mullies to arrive at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to the Irish Kidney Association, Leitrim Branch.
Andrew Faughnan, Ballingarry, Co Limerick / Aughamore, Co Leitrim -peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Christmas Day. Beloved husband of Sinéad Wall and wonderful father of Stephen, Ewan, Sam and Lily, father-in-law to Linh and grandad to baby Sean. Deeply regretted by his parents Vincent and Liz (née Daly), sisters Deirdre and Fiona, brothers-in-law Shane, Richard and Patrick, sister-in-law Jean, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and the community of Annaduff Parish in Co. Leitrim. Sadly missed by David and Brid Wall and extended family, neighbours and friends throughout the community of Knockaderry, Co. Limerick, sporting organisations in West Limerick and beyond, Limerick Council and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at O’Grady’s Funeral Home, Ballingarry (V94TW13) this Saturday evening, January 7th from 4pm to 6pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday, January 8th at 1pm in St. Munchin's Church, Knockaderry, followed by a private cremation. House private. No flowers please, donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice.
