Bring back trolley service on Sligo - Dublin train

Bring back trolley service on Sligo - Dublin train

Cllr Sean McGowan is calling on Iarnród Éireann to re-instate the trolley catering service on all their Inter City services which was suspended during the Covid pandemic.
Cllr McGowan said the service was withdrawn during the Covid restrictions and has never been re-instated.
He further stated the service is sorely missed, especially by older passengers.
It was also pointed out that there is no catering service at rural train stations either for people to get a cup of tea or coffee.
All the Carrick-on-Shannon area councillors agreed to support the motion and write to Iarnród Éireann.
