James Foley, Mohill, Leitrim / Farnaught, Leitrim - James died on 11th February 2023, peacefully in the compassionate care of the staff of Arus Carolan Nursing Home. James will be dearly missed by his loving wife Anne, their sons Brendan, Colin, Stephen and Niall, siblings John, Michael and Bridie, his four grandchildren, nephews and nieces, wider family and neighbours. James loved good company and had time for everyone. He returned to Mohill in 1998 after many years in London and he will be fondly remembered by the many friends he made there. James will repose at Smith's Funeral home, Main Street, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim N41PK15 from 6pm - 8pm on Friday, February 17th. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 18th February 2023, at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Gortletteragh and burial afterwards in the church cemetery. John (Scan) Gilmartin, 4 Drumanfinnila, Ballinaglera, Leitrim - The death has occurred of John (Scan) Gilmartin No. 4 Drumanfinnila, Ballinaglera, Co. Leitrim, formerly Sranagarvanagh, Ballinaglera, on February 11th 2023, peacefully after a short illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his wife Patricia and Daughter Catherine. Sadly missed by daughter's Pamela and Angela, Grandchildren, cousins, friends and neighbours.  Funeral Mass in St. Hugh's Church Ballinaglera on Thursday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Fahy Cemetery.

Patrick (Pat) Foley, Straduff, Geevagh, Co. Sligo and formerly of Carrownadargney, Geevagh, Co. Sligo - The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Foley, Straduff, Geevagh, Co. Sligo and formerly of Carrownadargney, Geevagh, Co. Sligo. February 13th 2023 (peacefully) surrounded by his devoted family and in the tender care of the staff at North West Hospice, Sligo. Beloved son of the late Mark and Margaret, predeceased by his brothers Tom and Seamus and his nieces Attracta Foley Moore, Mary T Devane and Meg Beatty Coyne. Pat will be sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Margaret, Bea and Claire, brothers Michéal and Mark, sister-in-law Teresa, brother-in-law Sonny, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and his many great friends. Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, on Thursday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Geevagh, arriving 7.30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11.00 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Corrig Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to SHOUT or North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo. Please also be mindful of the current concerns regarding Covid and Flu Virus.

David Corr, Kilnashee, Drumlish, Longford - Formerly of London. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Mary Ellen, brothers Mícheal and baby Oliver. Sadly missed by Claire and his son Oliver, his loving family Christina (Kenny, Aughavas), Sean (London), Kieran, Cyril, Monica (Carr) Maynooth, Aidan (Galway), Declan and Olivia (Walsh), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, all his extended family and friends. David will repose in Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford, this Wednesday evening from 6 o'clock, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Mary's Church, Drumlish, for 11am funeral Mass. Funeral Mass can be streamed live by clicking the following link. Followed by burial in the local cemetery. Denis (Denny) Gallagher, Derrenavoggy, Arigna, Roscommon - The death has occurred of Denis (Denny) Gallagher, Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle, formerly Derrenavoggy, Arigna, Co. Roscommon. February 12th 2023, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Sligo University Hospital, previously in the wonderful care of the staff of Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Kate, brother Mickey and sister Bridie. Denny will be sadly missed by his nephew Mick, nieces Cathy, Julie, Rosie and Martina, great-grandnephews, great- grandnieces, neighbours and his many good friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday in Church of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. Arigna, at 11.30 a.m. Interment afterwards in Arigna Cemetery.

Lexie Casey, Cregga, Strokestown, Roscommon - Suddenly. Predeceased by his beloved children, son Shane and daughter Frances, and his parents Sonnie and Baby. Lexie will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family; wife and best friend Angela, his adored daughter Emma, brothers John, Vincent and Colm, sister Ann, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and many friends. Removal to Strokestown Parish Church on Thursday, February 16th for Funeral Mass at 11a.m. Burial afterwards in Strokestown Cemetery. 

Angela Regan (née Butler), Derrinabruck, Cloontia, Ballymote, Sligo / Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon - February 12th, 2023. (Peacefully) with her family by her side, in the exceptional care of the management and staff of Sonas Nursing Home, Ballyleague. Pre-deceased by her husband Frank, parents Paddy and Molly and her sister Maureen (Carty). Sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughter Patricia (Ronan), son Paul, brothers Thompson, John and George, sister Patsy (Cox), grandchildren Dylan and Saoirse, son-in-law Tom, Paul's partner, Emma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 11am in St. Colman's Church, Derrinacartha, followed by interment in Carracastle Cemetery.
