Sean Banks, Carrickfad, Fivemilebourne, Leitrim / Coolaney, Sligo - The death has occurred of Sean Banks, Carrickfad, Fivemilebourne, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Rockfield, Coolaney, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at St. Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. Sadly missed by his loving wife Nora; children Edward, John, Kathleen, Joan and Eugene; son in law Peter; daughter in law Ann; grandchildren Aoife, Padraig, Lily, Oisín and Muireann; cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at his daughter Joan’s house, Carrickfad (F91 HY18) on Monday, 20th February from 3pm until 9pm and also on Tuesday, 21st February from 3pm and 9pm. Removal to St. Mary’s Church Newtownmanor for Funeral Mass at 2pm on Wednesday followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Gerard Lavin, Gleann Na Coille, Barna Road., Galway City, Galway, H91 XD43 / Ballyfarnon, Roscommon - Died peacefully following a short illness in the Galway Hospice Devoted husband of Colette. Dearly loved father of Darragh, Mark, and Jennifer, adored grandfather to Scott, Rós, Sophia and Enda. Deeply regretted by his brothers Martin and Sean, sisters in law, brothers in law and Aunt Breege. Sadly missed by his heartbroken extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Roscommon, on the 17th of February, peacefully at home, in the presence of family. Beloved wife of Darren and mother to Flynn and Roarke. Predeceased by her father Sean Regan. Kathleen will be deeply missed by her mother Lynn Regan, her sisters Susan (Gilgan), Caroline (Moran) and Olwyn (Gondelle and family in Cyprus) and her nieces Laura and Elissa and nephews Sean and Luke.
