Launch of Love Where You Live awards in Leitrim

Leitrim’s Love Where You Live Awards 2023 were launched on Monday, March 6 by Cathaoirleach Ita Reynolds Flynn who stated that “I am delighted to launch the annual Love Where You Live Awards for 2023.

“Leitrim County Council and Leitrim PPN are very pleased to announce that community and voluntary groups, housing estates, heritage groups and individuals and primary schools are now invited to enter the 2023 Love Where You Live Awards.

“This is a great opportunity to recognise the huge contribution made by all of you in making Leitrim a better place to live, work and visit I would encourage all groups in their categories to enter this great competition and new entrants are especially encouraged and welcomed”.

Two categories - Social Inclusion and Community Resilience - are sponsored by Leitrim PPN.
Four categories – Heritage Champion, Cleaner & Greener, Primary Schools and Housing Estates - are sponsored by Leitrim County Council.

Awards are given in each Municipal District in several categories.
The schools category will be revamped this year and will be project based.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony, which will take place in late September.
