Leitrim girl interviewed on RTE for World Down Syndrome Day

Isobelle Harding from Carrick-on-Shannon

A Carrick-on-Shannon teenager was interviewed on RTE News2day to mark World Down Syndrome Day on March 21.

14-year-old Isobelle Harding from Carrick spoke on the news show about her life and what she enjoys doing at school. She said she wants to be a hairdresser when she grows up and enjoys taking part in local musicals.

Isobelle also spoke about how she loves to travel with her family and her recent trips to San Francisco and Chicago. She loves pizza and enjoyed seeing the show Wicked in the theatre.

Isobelle did a great job on the news programme promoting #worldsownsyndromday
