A large crowd attended the official launch of the Carrick-on-Shannon Rapid River Responders held in The Landmark Hotel on Thursday night last, April 6.
There were presentations from the emergency services, search and rescue services and information stands from safety companies, RNLI, Water Safety Ireland and other groups.
