The Seán MacDiarmada Commemoration Committee is delighted to announce a full resumption of the annual commemoration which has been scaled back substantially for the past three years due to Covid.
The commemoration commences with assembly at Straduffy Cross, Kiltyclogher at 3pm on Sunday, 14th May, with a march led by Kiltubrid Pipe Band to the MacDiarmada monument in the centre of Kiltyclogher village.
Various wreaths will be laid and main oration on the day will be delivered by Matt Carthy TD.
Kiltyclogher will have a very busy weekend with the Seán MacDiarmada Boxing Club staging a boxing tournament in the Community Centre at 8pm on Friday, 12th May.
Kilty Presents trad concert featuring Cathal Hayden, Donal Murphy and Brian McGrath will take place on Saturday 13th May 8 pm in Kiltyclogher Community Centre.

The annual commemoration will then take place at 3pm on Sunday, 14th May 2023 and we look forward to seeing old friends and new throughout the weekend.
