The Aughawillan Drama Group is gearing up to present a hilarious production of “A Wake in the West,” featuring the uproarious antics of a small village in the West of Ireland as they prepare for the wake of Tom Healy, a beloved member of their community.
However, things take an unexpected turn when the local doctor, played by the talented cast, mixes up Tom's last wishes, leading to a series of hilarious misunderstandings and comic mishaps.
As the village gathers to mourn the passing of Tom Healy, they soon discover that the corpse seems to be more lively than expected, adding to the already absurd and comical situation.
