The Crowning Concert will take place on Thursday, July 20, hosted by Katherine Lynch.
The all-important Roses have been selected, the time is practically here and the International Wild Rose festival for 2023 is about to start!
Now the hard-working folks on the committee are proud to present the line-up of events that they have been putting together for you, over the last few months.
With an all-inclusive line-up planned for young and old alike, there will be plenty to keep everyone entertained and happy throughout the days and nights of the festival. Watch out for posters and flyers throughout the town and keep an eye on social media for further updates.
For now, read on as we outline some of the main attractions for the week…
Friday 14th July at 10pm, “The Galway Boy” Mike Denver kick starts the festival with a night of the finest Country music at the BeeHive Centre, Manorhamilton.
One of Ireland’s top Entertainers, Mike Denver has been singing and touring the country since his teens, continuously honing his craft and performing local shows to eventually become the entertainer he is today.
So, if you fancy an evening of some of the best Country music in Ireland, with one of its finest, you can book your tickets at the International Rose Festival Box office located in the W8 building in Manor or at the door on the night.
For those who love a bit of nostalgia, a night of great music, and are not willing to leave the dancefloor too early in the night – then the ‘80s Disco on Saturday 15th , 10pm at the Bee Park is the event for you! With prizes for the best fancy dress, wear your favourite bat-wing top and glitter, find your Miami Vice jacket, roll up those sleeves and come on over!
On Sunday 16th, a very important event will take place at 3pm, when all are invited to come down to the Bee Park Centre to ‘Meet the Roses’. With activities for the children, this will be a family friendly event and a great chance to welcome the 12 participants to Manorhamilton.
Dancing to Jim Devine, former ‘Voice of Ireland’ star and his multi-talented Irish country band takes place later on Sunday 16th starting at 10pm.
With a penchant for delivering a lively, bouncy set-list, these gentlemen invariably generate a tremendous atmosphere on every dance floor. The galaxy of awards which have come Jim’s way, testify to his outstanding entertainment status.
A Fashion Show with throw-in at 7.30pm, highlighting the boutiques and fashion outlets in Manorhamilton and around the region, brings a buzz of excitement to town on Tuesday 18th July as Brian Kerrigan from Ocean FM, takes on the role of Master of Ceremonies for the night.
And a Monster Bingo Extravaganza from 8pm, Wednesday 19th will set the excitement for the following evening, when on Thursday 20th, the Crowning Concert will take place.

With Special guests, the fantastic Ballagh Choir of Ages, the evening promises to be a night of high emotion, fun and laughter, and inevitably, some dancing to follow.
