'Summer Rambling House' series of events continues at the Coleman Music Centre, with Ryan Sheridan, Sinead Johston, Conor Mc Donghad and Conor Connolly performing live on August 2 at 8pm.
Conor Connolly, is a button accordion and piano player and singer from Clarinbridge Co. Galway and TG4 Young Musician of the Year for 2019. Coming from an area steeped in Irish music, Conor was always destined to play the accordion, with players like Joe Cooley from the locality and the great Joe Burke, from whom he took lessons.
He started playing tin whistle at the age of eight and with encouragement from his parents moved onto the accordion aged twelve.
Sinead Johnston was crowned the All-Ireland U15 banjo champion in 2019, and was twice named All-Ireland champion in u15 mandolin. Joining Sinead are Conor Mc Donagh who placed 2nd u15 drums, 3rd in whistle, and 3rd in U15 flute 2019 and Ryan Sheridan, an All-Ireland Champion Sean Nós dancer and drummer, and an All-Ireland medallist in Bodhrán.
