Ramps for Lahard
Cllr Caillian Ellis asked that ramps be installed in Lahard, Ballinamore to slow down the traffic coming into the town and was advised that the council would not be constructing ramps in the estate.
"This is not a rat run and the only people using this road are residents," Cllr Ellis was advised in the official response.
Cllr Ellis said he wanted ramps on the main road coming into town and was told this could be investigated.
Contractor appointed for Corgar to Cavan greenway
Cllr Ita Reynolds Flynn asked at what stage the greenway from Corgar to the Cavan border is currently at and when is it likely to be completed.
She was advised that Council have appointed a contractor for construction of the greenway from Corgar to Aughawillan and he expects to commence construction in three weeks. The construction will take three months.
Road repairs for Melican and Corduff South/Camber
Cllr Paddy O'Rourke asked the Ballinamore Municipal District arrange to have the necessary patching work carried out on road no L14941 in the townland of Mellican and also L16160 in the townland of Corduff South/Camber and was advised that the council will dispatch their maintenance crew to these roads.
