The ESB are replacing poles adjacent to Cortober Park and the N4 in Carrick-on-Shannon today, Thursday.
There’s a digger on site, workmen aloft and traffic backups in both directions.
Carrick-on-Shannon is plagued with traffic delays, particularly at weekends, with heavy volumes of traffic using the N4 through the town.
