Solas Art Gallery is set to host a truly unique joint exhibition by Patricia Devaney Harte and David Coleman Harte. This exhibition will open to the public on Friday, August 25, at 7.30pm and run until September 23.
A show of works from two artists, mother and son; a relationship often depicted in many forms, comes through the medium of oil painting. Patricia and David have travelled together throughout Ireland exploring forms of art and Irish culture.
Most recently as of 2018 they have undertaken an exhibition residency in New York City with Michael David. As mother and son, Patricia and David hope to display this exploration of experiences from the viewpoint of two closely linked generations.
Showing growth and collaboration across individual styles. Oil paintings from both artists represent the change, growth and development representing the relationship of mother and son.
