Island Theatre, a state-of-the-art Performance Venue, is promoting a series of special events for this autumn starting on October 14, with Anne Gildea's 'How to get the Menopause and Enjoy It' play.

How to Get The Menopause and Enjoy It has been wowing audiences and critics alike, and playing to packed houses all over Ireland, since its sell-out launch last year.

On Valentine's Day 2022, Anne Gildea launched her new show, How to Get The Menopause and Enjoy It, at the Viking Theatre, Clontarf, Dublin. The two-week run was extended to a month; such was the response and demand for tickets.

After a 30-date tour around Ireland, it returned to The Viking Theatre at year's end for another fortnight season.

On word-of-mouth recommendation, the show has gone from strength to strength and consistently sold to large houses. The feedback from audiences has been phenomenal. People are returning, bringing friends and family along. And theatres have been rebooking the show.

On October 29, Joe the Magician from RTÉjr! promised to bring to Ballinamore his spectacular children's comedy magic and illusion show for one spectacular afternoon of mind-boggling fun.

Joe's show fuses laugh-out-loud comedy magic with jaw-dropping spectacular illusions live on stage. It's a rollercoaster theatrical ride that reinvents children's entertainment.

Tables will fly, and a friendly ghost magically flies into the audience while Joe performs live on stage.

Joe's hugely popular TV show 'abraKIDabra' has been one of the most watched shows on RTÉjr and the RTÉ player. Now, Joe stars in his new educational comedy show 'Dizzy Deliveries' where Joe is a magical delivery man.

Early booking is advised as all of Joe's previous tour dates have sold out.

Greatest 80s is set to be on Island Theatre on November 25 with a high-energy show featuring the favourite hits from the decade of neon and big hair, including songs from iconic artists like Duran Duran, a-ha and Spandau Ballet.}

With a dynamic and powerful set full of the greatest songs of the 80s, 'Greatest 80s' is sure to be a hit with audiences of all ages. The show will take you on a nostalgic journey through the decade, with memorable performances of classic songs such as 'In the Air Tonight', 'Never Gonna Give You Up' and 'Together in Electric Dreams'.

With an electrifying and heartfelt script, the show is a celebration of the music, fashion and culture of the 80s.
