Leitrim area deaths - Tuesday, September 5

Oliver Charles Keel, Moydow, Longford / Aughavas, Leitrim

Oliver Keel, Moydow, Co.Longford and formerly of Aughavas , Co.Leitrim. September 3, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Vincent and infant Joseph, sister Monica, grandchildren Ben and Kayleigh. Oliver will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family wife May, son Francis, daughter-in-law Elaine, his adored grand-daughter Jessica, sisters Maura and Madeline, brother Frank, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Margaret (Peggy) McCabe (née Noone), Drumlummon, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim

September 3, 2023 (suddenly) at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Tommy, brother John Joe. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Bernadette (Dublin), sons Sean (Dublin), Padraig (Mallow), Aidan (Cartown, Carrick-on-Shannon), son-in-law Connell, daughters-in-law Jacinta, Patricia and Jenny. Adored grandchildren Sarah, Paul, Alan, Kate, Tom, Isobel, Ciara and Sophie, brothers Michael (Summerhill, Carrick-on-Shannon) and Tim (Dublin), sisters-in-law Helen, Mary and Tim’s partner Nancy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Alacoque Kelly (née Wisley), Foxrock, Dublin / Ballinamore, Leitrim

Kelly (née Wisley) Alacoque, September 2, 2023. Peacefully, in her 97th year, surrounded by her family, in the loving care of Ashbury Nursing Home, Deansgrange. Beloved wife of the late Vincent and sister of the late Bernadette and Seamus. Sadly missed by her son Vincent, daughter-in-law Orlagh, her darling grandsons Jack and Hugo, brother Brendan, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pat Gallogly Curraghtowney, Drumreilly, Leitrim

Peacefully, at Ballinamore Community Nursing Unit. Predeceased by wife Tess and sisters Nancy and Madge. He will be sadly missed by his sons Niall and Karol, his daughters-in-law Karen (Daly) and Marie (Brady), his brother Seán (and Patricia), sisters Joan, Julie, Liz and Monica (and Gerry Murtagh), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May their gentle souls Rest in Peace.
