‘Fergal’, a fun-loving non-verbal show for children and families, is set to perform on October 27-28 at Backstage Theater.
Co-created and performed by Longford native Darren Yorke, the story follows Fergal to the beach one day, where he thinks he is alone at last.
He has the time of his life painting and playing his banjo, thinking he has the whole beach to himself, but things change for Fergal when others arrive.
Fergal is a beautiful, non-verbal show featuring one actor and live shadow puppetry that celebrates independence, being ourselves and the importance of enjoying your own company.
The 50-minute show is recommended for children aged 3+ years. A relaxed performance for children with particular sensory needs takes place on Saturday, October 28, at 3pm.
