Senior Basketball
The boys senior lost to Colaiste Iascaigh during the week. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to come away with a victory. The team should be commended for their hard work and dedication, they gave it their all. More games to come. Best of luck!

Junior Cycle Results
Congratulations to all of our wonderful students and their excellent results that they earned in the Junior Cycle Exams. At Lough Allen College, we are all very proud of you.

Student Exchange
Best of luck to Amy Bohan who will be joining her host family in France for the October midterm break. This exchange started in 5th year for Amy. Best of luck and enjoy.

Rhianna Woods
6th year Student Rhianna Woods has spent the weekend in New York with her short film. Rhianna Woods also visited Austria to show her short film. We are beyond proud of you here in Lough Allen College. Excellent achievement Rhianna, well done.

Maths Week
Maths week is taking place in Lough Allen College this week. Students participated in the IMTA's inaugural Maggie Gough Competition. This competition aims to promote mathematics in a fun and collegial atmosphere and to encourage problem - solving skills among students. Ms Creaven’s Irish class were using their Irish numbers to help colour in pumpkins ahead of Oíche Shamhna. Thanks to the Maths Department for organising these activities.

Farewell Party
Nuno in first year along with many other International Students have left Lough Allen College after spending many weeks with us learning English and experiencing the Irish culture. We really hope that you enjoyed your time in Ireland, it was great to have you.

Pumpkin Carving
Ms Keane’s first year class enjoyed carving pumpkins during the week and have them ready for Halloween.5

TY Irish Trip
The Irish department organised their trip out for their transition year students to see An Triail in the Hawkswell Theatre on Tuesday 24th of October.

Halloween Midterm Break
We hope that all of our students, teachers and staff have a lovely midterm break. Enjoy.
