Road verge works for Sunnaghmore
Cllr Caillian Ellis proposed that Ballinamore Municipal District carry out works on the road verges on the L5561 and the L5569 in the townland of Sunnaghmore.
He was advised that works are now complete on this section of road and the verge will mature and recover over time.
Cllr Ellis continued that on the section, "there's an awful depression in the road and if you hit that hard, it would throw you all over the place."
Darragh O'Boyle, district engineer for Leitrim County Council, said that the council "will look at that and carry out some maintenance work required there."
