Santa Claus arrived in style on Monday, December 18, at Nazareth House, Co. Sligo with his own Garda escort.
Over 100 children greeted Santa outside with cheers and waves.
Organised by HSE Nazareth House staff, Service users of CAMHS (Children & Adolescent Mental Health Services) CDNT (Children’s Disability Network Team) and Primary Care services in addition to children of staff all excitedly queued to meet Santa.
After hearing their Christmas wishes Santa and his elves gave the children a treat for being so good all year. Festive cheer was in abundance as music was provided by the staff choir.
There was an extra treat in store for the children with the arrival of Sligo Rovers Player Niall Morahan. As well as joining in the music, Niall brought delight to many young fans by getting their photos taken with them.
Sinead Feeney, Facilities Manager Nazareth House, said: “We were delighted to have Santa visit us at Nazareth House. It was such a lovely treat for everyone to take time to celebrate the magic of Christmas together.
“I would like to thank all the Nazareth House Staff and wellbeing group for organising this event again for all those who use the facilities in the Nazareth house campus. It was wonderful to also have so many children of our staff with us on the day.”
