Two signposts for Eslin need to be erected

Cllr Enda Stenson

Cllr Enda Stenson asked if there could be two signposts for Eslin Bridge erected, one at Funshinagh cross, the other at Ohill cross, both on the Mohill to Keshcarrigan road, speaking at the latest Carrick-on-Shannon meeting.
A Report by the Roads section said that the local authority can erect one finger board signage at Funshinagh cross as it is the most viable route of the two to Eslin Bridge. The response concluded, "the regional road signage has more than adequately covered Eslin Bridge as a destination."

Cllr Des Guckian said he had previously asked for two signs "along the Drumlish/Mohill road showing Fearglass" and said there was a "discrimination there if you are going to provide one for this motion and not provide one for the people of the Fearglass area."
