Signs warning drivers of deer on Barnes road to be erected.
Cllr Frank Dolan asked that warning signs be put in place on the Barnes road (Newtownmanor to Dromahair) alerting drivers of the presence of deer along that route.
A report by the Roads office said that signs will be erected along the route warning for the presence of deer.
At the same meeting, Cllr Dolan asked again that Leitrim County Council put in place some form of traffic calming measures/signage to try and slow down the traffic on the R278 saying that "at present the volume and speed of traffic on this road is a nightmare for everyone."
A report by the Roads office responded that this route is included in the list of applications to the department for low cost safety measures.
